
Fall Athletics Update
Names of fall season athletes recognized with all-conference and other post-season honors have been posted at fvlhs.org/news.

Volleyball
The volleyball team finished 2nd in the Conference at 8-1 and was 35-4 overall. They lost to Lux-Casco (the NEC champ) in the Regional Final. Receiving First Team All-Conference honors were Kennedy Schmitz, Emma Nilson (pictured), and Annalise Patchett. Second team honors went to Samantha Kempinger, and Honorable Mention went to Savanna Charron and Kate Henze.
Tennis
The girls tennis team took 3rd place in the Conference, 2nd in Subsectionals, and 3rd in Sectionals. Olivia Pethan, Jessi Griepentrog, and Amelia Segelstrom (pictured) earned a bid to the Tennis State Tournament! Olivia took 3rd place overall in Singles. Earning First Team All-Conference were Pethan, Segelstrom, and Griepentrog. Second Team All-Conference went to Amelia Kelley, Chloe Lemberger, and Alli Olson.


Football
Foxes football finished 4th in the Conference at 3-4 and once again qualified for the WIAA playoffs. After two years, they took back the Apple Bowl trophy with a 24-15 win over Xavier. Earning First Team honors for the Foxes were Pierce Krowas (pictured)—a unanimous decision—Benett Reader, and Eli Retzlaff. Second Team honors went to Owen Gerhardt, Zach Johnson, Mac Kramer, Adam Loberger, and Ethan Melso, while Honorable Mention went to Quinn Jahns.

The FVL soccer team secured the Conference Title at 7-0-1 and finished the regular season 14-3-2 overall. The Foxes also earned the Regional Title in a shutout win over Waupun 5-0. Earning First Team honors for the Foxes were Jin Lee (pictured), Ben Keller, and John Callaway. Callaway was also named Boys Soccer Offensive Player of the Year. Second Team went to Lincoln Fleming, Jaemin Kang, and Matthew Callaway, while Christian Monigal earned Honorable Mention.
Cross Country
The girls cross country team took 3rd at Sectionals and also 3rd at the Conference Meet. Freshman Rowen Volhard (pictured) finished in 3rd place overall at Cross Country Sectionals and qualified for the State Meet; meanwhile, a young boys team looks to return stronger next year. Volhard and Kristen Donart received First Team All-Conference. Second Team honors went to Alexa Gordee, and Honorable Mention went to Claire Fischer, Lincoln Boehm, and Mason Dobberstein.


Girls Golf
The girls golf team tied for 2nd place in the Conference, with sophomore CJ Woosley (pictured) advancing to Sectionals. Second Team All-Conference went to Marley Gutekunst, while Myah Loberger and Woosley earned Honorable Mention.
