MARCH 2023
FVL Science Department Head, Mr. Ben Stern, describes teachers' involvement in designing and implementing educational software.
In the world of education, technology has revolutionized teaching and learning. This is especially apparent in science education, where computer models and games give students the ability not only to observe complex systems, but also to make changes to these systems and see what results, leading to a deeper understanding of the topic at hand.
The Peer Leadership Group (PLG) hosted Leadership Week the end of February/beginning of March. Wednesday's "Live Your Faith" activities included Buddy Olympics for seniors and freshmen. Juniors volunteered at home congregations and/or schools, and sophomores participated in a leadership seminar.

As a special honor, recognizing 500 wins as a coaching staff, Rev. David Wenzel and his staff were recognized after the girls basketball 76-33 victory over Waupaca on January 17. Congratulations, Rev, on this milestone achievement!
This year’s event showcased performances by the FVL bands, choirs, and many talented musicians, along with the special performance of a Alumni Band. Thanks to the generosity of those who attended this year's free event, the day was able to raise close to $13,000 to support our music program. Thank you for your contributions!
