Center Stage Awards

Anastasia and other characters on the FVL stage during the performance of the musical

This year, the cast of FVL's production of Anastasia: The Musical received recognition from the Center Stage High School Musical Theater Program with Outstanding Ensemble! Congratulations also to sophomore Grace Peters (Anya)-Outstanding Performance in a Lead Role. The cast performed a number from the musical at the awards showcase at the Fox Cities P.A.C. on May 6.


In addition to the student honors, director Mrs. Wendy Bixby was nominated for the Influential Theater Educator award.

Winter Sports All-Conference

In boys basketball, all-conference honors went to

  • Adam Loberger-first team (unanimous decision) who was also named Conference Player of the Year.
  • Sam Ferge-first team (unanimous decision).
  • Isaac Knoll-defensive all-conference.
  • Jackson Papendorf and Nick Kraftzenk-honorable mentions.


For girls basketball, all-conference honors went to

  • Emily Jaenke-first team (unanimous decision).
  • Alayna Feidt-first team (unanimous decision) and defensive all-conference.
  • Lauren Riesop-second team and defensive all-conference.

Wrestling honors went to

  • Austin Kufner and Sophia Wunderlich first team.
  • Grant Shea and Sam Krause with honorable mentions.

Esports

FVL Esports Rocket League team competed at the WIHSEA State Tournament in March and became D3 State Champions! Team members are Levi Wolfgramm, Sam Bigelow, Gabe Dierks, and Will Baumann, coached by Jonathan Favorite.

Student Honors

Connor Romberg was awarded the Herb Kohl Student Excellence Scholarship. Elijah Last was named FVL's 2023 Appleton Rotary Outstanding Junior. Seniors Reagan Clausen and Micaiah Wagner are finalists in The National Merit Scholarship Program.
