MAY 2023
President Jeffrey Loberger explains one way that FVL students are practicing their faith, and reminds us that today’s Christian teens are tomorrow’s church leaders.
For three days in mid-January (16–18), a group of FVL teens attended the 2023 WELS National Conference on Lutheran Leadership in Chicago. FVL sponsored these future leaders to attend and mingle with pastors, staff ministers, school administrators, teachers, preschool directors, and congregational leaders. Through worship opportunities, keynote speakers, and chosen breakout sessions, a fire began to ignite within these young people. As a matter of fact, one night at the conference, the 16 teens discussed with their chaperones for nearly three hours how and what could be done to bring this fire and passion to their classmates.
Check the online athletic calendar to see when the Foxes will be in action during this unpredictable spring weather.
The last day to purchase SCRIP for credit in the 2023-24 school year is Friday, May 27. Please check FVL's online calendar (fvlhs.org/calendar) for our summer hours and any special holiday hours.

Based on Psalm 145:13, the FVL Schools annual theme for next school year will be Forever Faithful. Thanks to Mr. Mark Eisenmann of FVL for the idea and the FVL Religion Department for organizing different quarterly sub-themes. The design was created by Mrs. Sharon Ragner in the Communications Office.
