Our Let the Children Come mortgage payment comes due on October 31 each year. By the halfway point this year, 33% of the needed donations had been given. Understanding there were other needs this year (roof, lockers, etc.), we pray we have a strong finish for the mortgage payment in the coming months. May the Lord continue to bless our efforts! 2023-24 Budget Approval in May

On February 27, FVL’s General Board was introduced to the 2023-24 budget. Key elements in the budget process include enrollment projections, staffing decisions, and church commitments for the upcoming year. Next year’s enrollment is projected at 745–755 students. Budget approval is planned for the May meeting, when we will have a more accurate picture of enrollment and budget figures. A tuition increase of 3.5% was approved at the February General Board meeting. We are very thankful that increased congregational giving to FVL's operating budget has helped keep this tuition increase minimal, considering inflation rates are around 8%. In this budget preview, the Federation churches would support just over 12% of the cost of operating the high school.

SUMMER 2023

Work on the roof, locker installation (and laying of tile), and the conversion of a classroom to a Communications Suite all begin immediately after school ends for the year.
