2023-24 Changes to the BEACON
FVL's longest-running publication, the BEACON, has been sharing news with the Federation since it was first printed in 1950.
Format, layout, and distribution methods have changed through the years, but the purpose of keeping the FVL family up to date with school news has remained consistent. Due to the rising popularity of our biannual alumni publication, the Legacy Magazine, and a desire to reduce cross-over information, we are combining the September and December BEACON into one that is released in fall. Likewise, we are combining the March and May BEACON into one spring issue.
The
BEACON
will now be direct-mailed to print subscribers, with a reduced number sent to Federation congregations. Similarly, a number of
Legacy
Magazines will now go to Federation congregations for display/distribution, while still being direct-mailed to subscribers. Go to
